In a mysterious and surreal middle zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intertwine in surprising and mysterious ways. Negin and Nazgol, elementary school students, find a sum of money frozen in winter ice and attempt to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly confused group of tourists around the sights and historical sites of Winnipeg. Matthew quits his pointless job in a Quebec government agency and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Space, time and personal identities intertwine, intertwine and resonate in a surreal comedy of distraction.
